1. Required Music Practice
1.1. Adult and teenager students are required to practice their instrument for a minimum of 20 minutes, 3 times per week. Children must practice 10 minutes, 3 times per week.
1.2. If the student consistently does not practice, Hollier Music Academy will cancel their enrollment.
2. Cancellation Fee
2.1. If a student does not attend their lesson (regardless of whether notice of cancellation is provided or not), that student will be charged a cancellation fee valued at fifty percent (50%) of the student's usual lesson fee.
2.2. The exceptions to the cancellation fee are: (a) long absences of 3 weeks or longer, such as holidays or serious illness, (b) public holidays, and (c) teacher cancellations.

3. First Lesson
3.1. The first lesson must be paid before the scheduled lesson time. If it is not paid, the time slot will be made available for other students.
4. Refundable Reservation Fee
4.1. If the student pauses or suspends their enrolment for 3 or more weeks, a refundable reservation fee of $50.00 will be charged to the student's account and the fee will be refunded upon the student's return.
4.2. If the refundable reservation fee is not paid, the student's time slot will be made available for other students.
5. Declined Card Fee
If the student's debit or credit card declines, a $5.25 'declined card fee' will be charged to the student's account. Students' cards are charged the day after their scheduled lesson (other than the first lesson). For example, if the student's lesson was held on Monday, their card will be charged on Tuesday.
